Osgood Sheldon is a management consulting firm serving nonprofit organizations and public sector clients. We help organizations clarify direction, strengthen their operations, and build the capacity needed to grow their work over time. We serve clients nationally from our offices in Northeast Ohio, Pittsburgh, and the Tampa Bay area.

Our work helps clients get clearer about what they are trying to achieve for their communities and those they serve, while strengthening the organization behind that work. Experienced Leadership

The firm is led by Nancy Osgood, founder of The Osgood Group, and Adam Sheldon who served as The Osgood Group's first full partner. Osgood Sheldon is built on The Osgood Group's foundation of service to clients for nearly two decades. Together, Nancy and Adam bring more than 50 years of combined leadership experience across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, including executive roles and board leadership service.

That experience means that our process and approach have been pressure-tested over time, with demonstrated results for clients across the nonprofit, philanthropic and public sectors.

An Expert Team

Osgood Sheldon is supported by a strong team that includes a PhD statistician, a Senior Research Analyst, and a suite of subject-matter experts. This structure allows us to bring the right expertise to each engagement and match the work with the level of analysis and specialization it requires.

Our firm is further supported by a dedicated executive administrator who helps keep the work moving and ensures a high level of responsiveness, coordination, and follow-through for our clients.

Regional, National, and International Experience

Osgood Sheldon brings deep experience in Northeast Ohio, and Nancy and Adam have served clients regionally, nationally, and internationally, including in Europe, South America, the South Pacific and the Middle East.

    Our History

    Osgood Sheldon grew out of The Osgood Group, which has been serving clients for nearly two decades.

    Nancy and Adam first met when Adam engaged The Osgood Group to support strategic planning for the Community Arts School at Baldwin Wallace University. He was drawn to the firm’s approach and later joined The Osgood Group as an independent contractor. After working alongside Nancy across multiple client engagements, he became a partner in the firm.

    Today, that work continues through Osgood Sheldon.
